Our "son" Ben (who calls us mom and dad) gave me my favorite card this year....here is it....
Then, of course, I have had several letters requesting me to join AARP! What is up with that? I thought you had to be near retirement??!!? Ummm, dudes and dudettes, for the record, I am only just turned 5-0, and as far as when this homeschooling mama does the Math, retirement at 55 is still five years away....maybe that's that new-fangled Math I have been hearing about....
But this card that came in the mail addressed to me - it was also a favorite....it was probably prompted by the AARP...it's wondering if I would be interested in an ASSISTED LIVING HOME??? Sign - me - up!! If they want to assist my life and make it easier - you betcha!!!!
By the way, do you think they have units for families with 10 children??
Just imagine the fun that awaits all of us!!! Pack your bags kids - we're heading HOME!!
You crack me up. That is so funny!!
ReplyDeleteOk that is really, really funny. I don't think the big 5-0 is very "old" at all. 50 is the new 30, momma! Wear it well:)
ReplyDeleteFirst of all I love the Boogers card, we have bought that for someone before.
ReplyDeleteNow, I'm only 34 but do you think I could get a room at the assisted living place too? Does it come with a maid and a chef? I could bring home lots of kids (if I had the money) if all I had to do was take care of the kiddos and love on them =).
