I asked a person in our home,
{whose name will remain anonymous}
to make some grill cheese sandwiches...
With a great attitude, they got right to work...
and they were coming along nicely...
until Facebook started screaming their name...
And now we have appropriately renamed it...
a Facebook Sandwich

Oops! We've had a facebook boiled over spaghetti noodles over here...I'm trying to NEVER leave the kitchen when I'm cooking now. The office is just a tiny bit too far away from the microwave, oven and cooktop.
ReplyDeleteHA! I don't need a distraction to create a sandwich like that!! I watch the whole time its burning!! Isaac's preschool class created a "recipe" book of favorite dishes their moms made. Isaac contributed "burned pizza". As in take it out of the freezer, put it in the oven. Take it out when its black!! Not even kidding!!! Sheri

Hahaha! I had the same thing happen when we had company over. I was trying to make a sandwhich for my 2 year old and I kept talking and would walk away and forget....for like a half an hour!!! Yea...you can imagine what THAT looked like. =( It took 3 tries but I FINALLY got one! (With my laughing guests constant reminder to check it, lol!)

ReplyDeleteI have never commented on your blog but I do read almost every post. I am 21 and am on facebook quite often, and when I am cooking dinner things like this happen a lot, no matter how hard I try to not be distracted.
