6:00pm Update on Karl

I keep starting to cry knowing people are praying in Ecuador, Ukraine, Canada, others have mentioned the states you are in....
Really, humbled beyond words.
Your comments mean the world.
I read them and cry - knowing so many have never met us, let alone Karl, and yet you are praying.

Here's what we know now:

Karl is out of neurosurgery.
They put a shunt in to drain the mass bleeding.

I know you don't know him, but he is a treasure.

Really.

We have met lots of young men over the years.

He rises above all by the rest by the heights of theHimalayans.
{do you know what I'm saying?}

He had just told Autumn a couple of weeks ago that he wanted to be baptized.

Here's what we need anyone to pray specifically:

1.  Brain NOT to swell.
2.  Pneumonia not to set in.
3. Complete healing.

I honestly can't think.

I may update again when I can remember more.

Thank you to all who have hit their knees on Karl's behalf.
We are all in shock.

Just yesterday Karl sat at our kitchen counter,
turning red and laughing gently.
I was teasing him about something.

We love this young man.
Please pray hard.
And if you know any intercessors at all,
please ask them to plead on Karl's behalf.
Please.

"The LORD your God is with you,
   he is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
he will quiet you with his love,
he will rejoice over you with singing.”
Zephaniah 3:17

  62. I will be praying for complete healing! Just last year, a friend of mine was in a serious motorcycle accident that sounds similar to Karl's (body mostly okay but severe brain swelling). He had numerous skull fractures around his entire head, brain swelling and was in a coma by the time he arrived at the hospital. Things did not look good. However, people were praying and God does heal! Within two days, he was awake and out of the ICU. Within a week, out of the hospital. And, amazingly, suffered no neurological deficits at all! The doctors were shocked! I am praying for complete healing just like that for Karl! And prayers for all of you too..I know how exhausting it is to sit in the waiting room not knowing.
