Meet S and D and their two treasures!
Seriously, are they all glowing or what?
The journey to find their children was one filled with simple faith, complete trust and dogged perseverance. They left for this distant land about a month ago, not knowing who their children would be.
They poured over pictures, while friends and family prayed for them. They were drawn to this little sibling group. And then they got to meet them. In the meantime, learning that in this country, children over age 6 can decide if they want the family pursuing them to adopt them. And this little lass had already turned two other families down!
Simple faith, complete trust and dogged perseverance!
Time passed and God moved every single mountain and obstacle.
And here they are.
A family.
Forever.
YEAY! Oh what a cute picture! they all look so happy. I am so delighted for all four of them and also so grateful we could see a picture of them :) thank you so much for keeping us updated and for sharing this with us also x
ReplyDeleteLots and lots of tears from me. I don't think I will ever get over having the privilege of being a mom. Eleven years of infertility and then adopting have left a permanent forever mark on my heart. There is nothing like the day you become an official forever family.

ReplyDeleteI am so touched by how this little girl's heart was changed and that she "knew" these were her Mommy and Daddy. Huge decisions for a tiny soul, but I Believe that He was guiding her to THE family that he had planned for her and her brother. I will be praying that this little family will meld together in Love.
