The Date

Did you ever have one of those days where it seems that at every turn a really sweet and unexpected surprise awaits you?

I have been left smiling big time!

Anyway, more on all that soon...but for now...

Many of you have asked when "the miracle wedding" will be...

*Last week-end, before Emma left for Uganda, and while Karl and Autumn were visiting,
Emmy was able to take a boatload of engagement photos, and yes, the date is set!!*

I just can't stop smiling {mixed with intermittent teariness}
when I see the pictures...in fact I told poor Karl, "dude, you know how I love to hug and well, I will have to hug you somedays over and over and over...I just can't help myself...."

ONLY FAITHFUL GOD...

33 Simply Sweet Words:

  1. I am reading this and also can see the Karl's Prayer Vigil Picture. So thankful I could pray and fast for him and so happy and in awe of all God did through it. He is faithful and it is a great reminder to me when I go through some hard times. I know so many lives were touched in this time and are still being touched. Praying for all of you and celebrating this special time. L Florida

  6. Only our God of Miracles could have accomplished this!!! Rejoicing with you, my friend!!

    BTW, I got to meet Karl and Vicki at church not too long ago. I was all teary as I talked with them because, in my opinion, Karl is a walking miracle. I was so honored to meet them and to have prayed for all of them since July.

    Love & miss you, chica!

    "Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal." -2 Corinthians 4:16-18
